Hello, my name is Simeon Katsarov, and I'm a MA student at University of Greenwich, doing a programme in International Tourism Management.
My research interests are heritage, seaside regeneration and arts (creative industries).
My BA dissertation was on the notion of nostalgia at the Canterbury Cathedral, which was an amazing ethnography experience.
On both my researches my supervisor was/is James Kennell, a tutor that understands me and my ways of thinking.
This blog will be a product of six months of research, which will determine to find the role of creativity in the cultural regeneration of the seaside town of Folkestone, Kent.
With the East Kent 2017 bid made reality, fun times will be happening in Kent soon.
